Round Up Savings
Let AFB Contribute Up To $250 To Your Savings Each Quarter
After you enroll with Round Up Savings, signature transactions made with your AFB check card will be rounded up to the next whole dollar amount. The difference between the transaction amount and the rounded dollar value will then be transferred from your checking account directly to your savings account. Then we will match 20 percent of the transferred amount up to $250 quarterly.
Here’s how it works:1
- Purchase with your AFB check card and your signature.
- Rounded up difference transferred from checking to savings.
- AFB match of your transfer
- Amount added to your savings
- = $1.08

Round Up Savings program requires both a qualified AFB checking and savings account in good standing, along with use of an AFB check card for purchases; issuance of card subject to approval. Signature-based transactions only; PIN transactions are not eligible for Round Up Saving program.
Purchases are rounded to the next highest dollar amount; difference is transferred from checking into savings account (maximum transfer per transaction $0.99). Transactions ending in even dollar amount ($x.00) will not be rounded; no transfer to savings will take place.
Each checking or savings account can only be linked to one other checking or savings account. See AFB representative for qualifying accounts.
Match will be credited to account at end of calendar quarter. If account(s) is closed or un-enrolled from the program before match is posted, matching bonus for the period will be forfeited. Matching funds will be reported to the IRS on Form 1099.
